About This Course
The WSQ PWM-Cleaning: Cleaning Chemical Handling Level 3 course supervisors with the knowledge and skills necessary to handle cleaning chemicals safely, understand their properties, and apply appropriate cleaning methods and processes in the workplace.
This WSH module is mandatory for all Cleaning Supervisors under the Progressive Wage Model (PWM).

Regulatory Requirement & Industry Standards
As of 31 December 2022, all cleaning businesses must ensure that their cleaning workforce meets the mandatory training requirements set by the National Environment Agency (NEA):
1οΈβ£ One Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) module
2οΈβ£ One CORE cleaning module
π Additional Requirement for Class 1 Licence Holders

Cleaning businesses applying for a Class 1 Licence must ensure their workforce completes at least 3 training modules, including a minimum of 2 CORE modules.
π Who Must Be Trained?

100% of cleaners must complete training before a new or renewed cleaning business licence is issued.

This requirement applies to all cleaners, including Singaporeans, Permanent Residents, and foreign workers, regardless of whether they are full-time, part-time, casual, or temporary employees.

Cleaners employed for less than 3 months at the time of licence application are exempt from this requirement.
β οΈ Non-Compliance Consequences
Cleaning businesses that fail to meet the training requirement may face:
π« A financial penalty of up to $5,000
π« Suspension or revocation of their cleaning business licence
π If a cleaning business does not meet the training requirements at the time of licence renewal, the licence cannot be renewed.

Certificate π
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) for PWM-Cleaning: Cleaning Chemical Handling (Skill Code: EVS-CGO-3001-1.1).
- Letter of Attendance (LOA) can be issued by us after course completion, upon request, for your immediate submission to NEA.
- WSQ SOA will be issued by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) in 1-2 days after full payment of course fees and course completion.
Validity of Certificate
The certificate does not have an expiry date.

Pre-requisites
- Have an interest in or experience working in environmental services, such as facilities management, landscaping, construction, engineering, or security
- Be new entrants to the industry or existing operators who have not taken this course before
- Have undergone job orientation covering work roles, responsibilities, and workplace safety practices
- Be able to read, listen, and speak English at Employability Skills System (ESS) Literacy Level 3
- Possess numeracy skills equivalent to ESS Numeracy Level 3
- Bring a pen (courseware will be provided)
- Have a smartphone to scan the SingPass QR code for attendance tracking

Our training venue is at Halycon Building, within 5-minute walk from Marymount MRT (Circle Line). We can arrange private classes for your organisation at your site as long as you meet the minimum pax criteria.
